Not working as Plugin for IDA 7.1

I put IDAscope.py in the IDA plugins directory as well as the folder idascope. When trying to start in IDA I get the following error:

[!] IDAscope.py is not present in root directory specified in "config.py", trying to resolve path... [!] IDAscope config is broken. Could not locate root directory. Try setting the field "idascope_root_dir" to the path where "IDAscope.py" is located.
