A generic error occured in GDI+

  • How exactly can this issue be reproduced so others can do so in order to understand what is broken.

    • When trying to save the DB for GBA and Genesis/Mega Drive, the following error message appears. If you click ok, the message goes away and CaVE shows “Saved” blinking at the bottom right.

    Changed the titles since this will probably be a common issue seen.

    But… I have no clue what it is exactly. I think its with the code that writes the game name text to the generic default box images. But thats it.

    It happens randomly, and does not cause any problems. And its been happening in previous builds of CaVE. It’s not new to this v1.5 revamp.

    For now, just ignore it. Unless you can provide instructions that can reproduce it 100% of the time.

    this error happens cause of a preset image database. The code and checksum for the game is in the .json but the images are not in the folder making cave wonder where the images are. I had this issues when i had to make new ones for Ocarina of Time REV A and REV B

    EDIT: also seems to be fixed now as i cant replicate the issue.

    the error happened cause it couldnt save the image and it couldn’t insert the title over the default image. I dont know how to explain it better
