    Sadly, it seems this issue is too vague to exactly where its happening, or declare that I have definitively addressed it.

    That said, I found a couple calls to functions that have a parameter named “path”, and more properly check if the variable I am supplying is non-null as expected.

    The bigger question is, why is it null in the first place? Its either a failure to get the path to the Saves directory on your Switch’s NAND, or a failure to locate the system-save.json inside of it. The latter is the only one I have a theory for. That being… maybe you had not loaded the NSO SNES app prior to this, and thus a system-save.json has not been generated? That's unlikely though.

    Anyway, for now all I can say is that I have TRIED to address this with simply, better informative errors.

    This is not an issue I have seen before. I connect with CaVE and DBI often with zero issues. This might have been a one off issue.
