Change between Database

V1.5 works very well. But when i change for example from snes to gba. It try to open it. Load load load. I just have white background and blue stripes without any text. Than the tool close without error message. When i open the tool again i m in gba, the change to gba happen but with a restart. And all custom games i add work fine and sync to my switch also work realy well. I dont know the Information is important i use a european switch and app.

The Euro app is the same as the US app. But the Euro switch I doubt is an issue.

This is a issue with CaVE, right? I would assume so, but you don’t state it and bring up the hardware/app which would be completely unrelated to CaVE when it comes to such issues.

That all said, and assuming you are in fact talking about CaVE… I have no clue what this issue would be. I have not seen anything like it. It sounds like the text of the main tab isnt displaying. But that itself wouldn't lead to a crash, so both are probably a symptom of something else.

I just know that switching databases like that is normal, well tested procedure. So for now I have to assume this issue is unique to you, and I cant move to try and address it. Perhaps its a issue I have already fixed (since you have a older version of the beta) and forgot about, or its one of those windows locale issues I hate. IDK…

I am a bit confused on this issue. From what I gather, all I needed to do was open my SNES DB in CaVE. Once my SNES DB loads, open my GBA DB in CaVE. Both loaded just fine. There was no delay, error, or crash.

This was opened in September of 2023. Is this even still an issue or can it be closed?

I have been changing from all database’s just to make sure my mods and stuff are updated. I have not had this issue, I get the same results as Tokyo. My databases switch fine without a restart of CaVE
