"Flinch" blur occurs when throwing grenades

reporter The game is performing the same momentary blurring of the screen that occurs when firing any weapon. It did not do this for grenades in 5.1, but now it has started to recently.

The same blur when bullets pass you (but hardly noticeable), not when you "fire any weapon".

So this is a suppression effect type blur when someone else throws a grenade that passes close to you, not a blur that occurs when you throw a grenade - correct?

No this is actually a projectile bug for ALL projectiles currently blurring your screen when you fire or throw a grenade. Somewhere a check against the instigator got removed, likely in your large changes to DHProjectile.

reporter I don't think it's caused by a projectile passing you by, but by the Fire class adding the blur when the projectile is launched.

Sorry, I don't know what this means. Throwing all types of grenade appears fine on my screen and I don't see any blur or jerkiness.
