Gzipped file and not gzipped

Issue #150 invalid

I see that with the actual code I only can have one version of a file (gzipped or not gzipped). Am I right?
I want to have the two versions (gzipped and not gzipped) for cross-browser compatibility.
If you agree, I can write the code.

@Stefano Vettorazzi I was about to create this issue myself because I too am concerned about supporting clients without gzip support. Read the comments in this SO issue: http://stackoverflow.com/a/5447158/317110 and they make that many mobile browsers don't have gzip support, and there are also many reasons besides browser that a desktop client might not get support (even if their browser does support it): http://www.stevesouders.com/blog/2009/11/11/whos-not-getting-gzip/

Based on these reasons, it seems that it may be more important than we think. That article was 2009, can someone provide evidence that it's no longer a problem? If not maybe we should re-open?
