Ability to show cumulative data trend

I will like ability to show data in cumulative format.

For instance, I want to graph all the open bugs in the past 2 weeks. Right now, I cannot do that. I can only graph bugs created in the past 2 weeks or bugs resolved in the past 2 weeks.

Ideally, I will want to be able to create a filter and graph the total number of issues the filter returns for the past 2 weeks. (Or any set number of days)

Can you post your JQL query please?

A common mistake is to use "status = Open", when to do what you describe, you need to use "status was Open". I've attached a working example for reference:
