Ability to add chart Data label

Would like to have the ability to add Data Label to bar chart of line chart. currently the only option available is "show grid" but when there are multiple data or stacked-bar its not user friendly

You can create a new dataset and set the 'Type' to 'gridline' in order to add a label to the chart at an axis value. Is that sufficient for your use case?
