Support for getting rest API results dispalyed

Hi Team,

We are migrating a client from server to cloud and on the server they have the HTML gadget fro important Dashboards.

Some of the gadgets are actually scripts that get some results using the REST API and displays tham on the Dashboard.

HTML is not supported on cloud and we and Atlassian have identified this addon a way to accomplish similar behavior on the cloud.

However, I don't seem to find a way to get rest api calls to return results in the gadget body. Is this possible with this addon?
