A locking feature for long threads

I like reading old threads that are really long, but after a few hours reddit flow reloads and I lose my place and the thread. Is there a way to have a button or a feature to lock in the thread so reddit flow cant reload at times when I dont want to leave what I'm reading? It usually happens when I'm getting back into the app from texting or something else after only being out of it for a few minutes.
