Audio not coming down with 10

Video streams and saves successfully from 10, but no audio comes with it. Seems to be a problem from about 25 Jan onwards, affects all shows tested.

the video downloads and encodes fine but there is no audio

This problem does not affect all shows. On exploring the issues, shows like Madam Secretary, Scorpion, for example, are affected, but some local content is not.

FWIW, over the last couple of days I tried downloading some local content and that too had no audio.

I encounter same issue after I switched from Win7 to my ARM-based debian machine recently. FFMPEG showed that there is only 1 stream which is the video but audio is missing. It is confirmed with the .ts file also missing audio. The major difference for my machines is using livestreamer instead of streamlink due to package not available. I will do a bit more research and hope to share my finding.

Managed to install streamlink with PIP.

i.e. $ sudo apt-get install python3-pip

then $ sudo pip3 install streamlink

My first test seems back to normal and sound is back for me.

Hence, for those still have problem please confirm you can run ‘streamlink’.

@pawD Bingo! Worked for me (had to re-download the videos as the existing downloads were missing the audio). Nice work.

For anyone with webdl windows installation, just go to your webdl folder in CMD
e.g C:\webdl

and enter this

pip install streamlink

I've pushed an update which warns people to switch to streamlink over livestreamer.
