Also maybe an option to delete items in the list you may not know/want to track. IE if you don't want to complete the started/finished dates maybe they can be removed from the final view. Will also help if you haven't yet finished a project so you can see the start date, but not the end date until entered

Having the end date the same as the start date isn’t helpful but confusing.
