Sync between iPad and iPhone

When I purchased the App, it downloaded to both my iPhone and iPad. However, when I entered my medicines and prescriptions to the iPhone application, my app on the iPad did not update. I should not have to enter the information twice. I could have just as easily made a list in a word document and saved it in the cloud.
