How about creation IRC channel?

at least in the community here irc isn't used anymore at least by normal home sewers, so if we want a channel, we need a webclient and we need to take care, that someone of us is hanging arround all day to support the users. I think a forum is better - so the old questions and answers will be available and the users aren't unsatisfied, if anyone doesn't answer within 5 minutes after the question was posted.
