Windows installation
Is it intentional that valentina on windows is installed per-user only? Is it due to still being beta software? Otherwise I would propose the user can chose if he wants to install it per machine ("for all users"), i.e. in c:\program files (x86)\valentina or per user (like it is now).

reporter That means it is intentional? I know that there might be some good reasons for UAC and agree, that sometimes, especially on Windows it is a good thing to let users only mess arround in there own user space. But it should at least be arbitrary - admin access presumed - to install per machine or not. Still we are talking about a multi-user system.

If someone will propose solution, we definitely take it. Right now i don't know way how to make this in NSIS. -

Allright, I agree in this case it is better the way it is - especially for beta software. I have not worked with NSIS (only Inno and WiX), but I guess it should be possible. One day...:)

repo owner NSIS it is only one possible way. I don't care what system we will use for installer.
Can we close issue?
-
reporter Yeah, but for the existing installer is allready based on NSIS it would possibly be the least amount of work to do. Close? Or set on hold/change it into a feature request? You decide.

repo owner - changed status to on hold

Agreed that this should be on hold. This issue is important, but it's not urgent.
