Where? I don't see any attachment files.

repo owner Susan, can you show me the layout settings window?

-
repo owner I don't know how, but you set paper size 0.03x0.03 cm. :)
-
reporter I don't remember changing the paper size, I just selected options in the list.
-
reporter Okay, close it.
-
repo owner Okay, close it.
No, i still want to check it. Have some ideas.
-
repo owner Can you still reproduce the bug?
-
reporter I can enter 841mm x 1189mm in the A0 width and height, with 'auto-crop' option checked, and the layout is generated without error.
If I don't select the 'auto-crop' option, I get this message: 'Cannot create image. Size too big'

QImage class has some limits.
-
reporter No way to zoom out to make the image fit on the canvas?

What do you mean?
-
reporter Isn't that what the error message says, maybe I don't understand fully: 'Cannot create image. Size too big'

reporter Is there any way to change from 96ppi to something lower?
Can we add to the message like this: 'Cannot create image. Size too big. Re-try Layout with 'auto-crop length' option checked, and/or reduce ppi'

How this will help you avoid limitation? Instead better use vector formats.

reporter oops. I entered 841 x 1189 'centimeters' Should have been 'millimeters'
To recap, the error was caused by 0.3 x 0.3 in the A0 width & height
Then when I corrected it by entering 841 x 1189, I should have selected 'millimeters'.
This issue is resolved. Thanks

reporter One question - why doesn't Valentina retain the new A0 width & height settings?
I enter 841 x 1189 'millimeters' for A0.
The next time I create a layout with A0, the settings are 0.03 x 0.03 centimeters.
I've tried saving the pattern, saving the layout, closing Valentina and reopening.
A0 always returns to 0.03 x 0.03 cm.Is this an operator error, or should I open another issue?
-
repo owner Valentina remember last settings that was used. When you do many tries it will help you do it more quick.
-
reporter It doesn't remember the last settings used, it always returns to 0.03 x 0.03 cm. It forgets the new '841 x 1189 millimeters' setting.
I also tried '84.1 x 118.9 centimeters' - it didn't remember this either. It returned to 0.03 x 0.03 cm.
-
repo owner I will look.
