New feature: Flip piece in Detail mode
Inkscape has Flip Horizontal and Flip Vertical
Flipping a detail piece would be good to allow creation of layout where the pieces are right-side-up relative to how it will be cut out. This is good if fabric has pattern, stripes, or plaid. Just a nice thing to do as a patternmaker. Prevents mistakes when cutting.
Also, the ability to flip a detail piece, followed by use of the Union Tool, would improve the workflow for creating a shirt with a built-in facing or pants with built-in fly.
Currently the Union Tool rotates one piece to join the other piece when the edges to be joined do not face each other, which creates incorrect results for the use case for flies and facings. A video has been attached to demonstrate the incorrect result.

We don't need this feature anymore. Use tool Symmetry and create flipped piece.

Example: Flip facing piece horizontally, then use Union tool to merge with shirt piece.
