Currently you can assign customs material to pieces, which is indeed necessary. But you can't remove one (not used anymore, wrong entry, etc...)

It would be great to be able to organize those materials:

• having a general material list that can be sorted out and edited.
• create some sub-list, for being able to select some material for the current project (in order to limit the drop down list when you deal with hundreds of different materials).

Create global feature for library of fabrics.
In Pattern Properties the user could select which categories & fabrics will be available in Details.
