Layers in layout
I'm proposing (and asking at the same time whether or not it's easily implemented) to add a feature to layout generator that puts different parts of the pieces on different layers.
An example would be:
- Main contour: Layer 1
- Grainline: Layer 2
- Notches/Passmarks: Layer 3
- Internal Lines: Layer 4
- Seam: Layer 5
Being able to choose which part translates to which layer, would be a bonus.
This will facilitate easier export to CNC/CAD/CAM solutions to make valentina files ready for automatic cutting.
This would then apply to layers being exported into a layered DXF file.
Not sure how much work or if it's feasible at all, just asking! :)

reporter Alternatively, a new feature that would export each seperate workpiece to a different page, and then supports layers, would also be an option. It would allow export of seperate pieces. The corresponding files/pages would be named after the name of the detail.

reporter Right now, valentina exports a "flat" dxf file, which is a lot of manual work to get ready for CNC/CAM cutting.

Yes this is needed, and we have had several discussions about this.
