Y axis scaling by the user

Issue #101 new
Former user created an issue

Is there any way for the user to zoom/scale the y axis themselves?

I have it set to auto, but with a very long "max" tail, it obscures most of the interesting information around the median. I can set the y-axis myself such that it displays the more interesting information, but then it is static and no longer useful when the max changes with filters.

It would be great if there could be a slider so that the user can scale the y axis to the desired level of detail. I'm not aware of any workarounds to create my own slider and link it to the y-axis.

There is a solution proposed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Use-Slicer-to-Change-Y-axis-scale/m-p/424670 but it involves filtering the chart, which would change the necessary values.

Unfortunately I am working with sensitive data so can't include a .pbix file
