Violin Sides Don't Always Overlap Correctly

An issue exists with the rendering where we often get a gap or overlap between the violin elements, suggesting that they aren't quite snapping to the 0 value of the vertical y axis. Initial suspicions were that it was a pixel placement issue but seems pretty uniform across tested browsers. Can be mitigated by meddling with the y-value but it's not consistent for different plots so need to find the right approach for it.
