Why does violin sometimes not display density plot?
Example here > all violins have roughly the same number of samples etc, yet nothing in the middle violin.
NB - 2 visuals overlayed (to create the lines in the background)

repo owner Hi @Cameron Stewart - this certainly isn't a known issue (until now!)
If you're within the 30K data point limit, then this should work as expected, so I'm very curious as to what's happening here.
To confirm, I'd need to be able to take a look at the data going into the visual in this particular case and see where the density plot is getting stuck. Are you able to share your workbook privately? Feel free to email me (daniel@coacervo.co) if so and I'll investigate for you and report back.
Also, thanks for showing me how you're using the visual - overlaying the 2nd one looks great! I might have to consider that for the backlog…
