Pass Description from Actor Startup.vi in Self:Initialize Message

Any opposition to adding functionality to the Actor Template Support.lvlib.Actor Startup.vi (or creating another startup vi in the library) to pass the description from Launch Actor.vi down to the sub actor? I know I could just create a custom message to deliver description (name) from a top level actor, but that seems redundant and the code is 90% of the way there in Actor Startup.
