Maybe nothing can be done about this, but the user search tool only works on the username, not on the actual person's name. Where we have entered usernames based on their real names this isn't a problem (it does a search for any string), but the new members are making up their own names, for example the latest Hugh Waters has 'hewaters' as his user name. That means he can't be found on a search for Hugh but his record is found on a search for waters. Victoria Boulton has chosen vaboult, which is even harder to find.

In most cases we won't know their user name so the search isn't useful. The same applies when making a connection between (say) an invoice and a registered member.
