Throwing rope allows theoretically infinite rope stretching.

When the rope is tied to something and you are carrying it and you throw it a direction, you will throw the rope to that location even if it couldn't reach if you just moved to that location. Repeating this, you can move an end of the rope to very distant locations and cause issues like being unable to go in any direction while holding the rope, even the one that leads back.
