Inaccurate compass rose in main stacks

It says East is valid, but E.E. and W.W. give the same result--looping back.

Note W.E from the antechamber also no longer sends you back there. This makes the map nonreflexive, and I like the gimmick, but it is disruptive.

Maybe you should switch E-W to in-out or something?

I'm not quite sure what you mean: going west and then east from the Antechamber should bring you back to the Antechamber.

The special effect only comes in if you go west multiple times. Every time you go west it increments a counter; every time you go east it decrements. If the counter is zero you see the poster and the Encyclopedia, if it goes negative you're back in the Antechamber again.

What sequence of commands did you use to produce this effect?

OHHHH. I see what happened. You went west several times, then north, then southeast, then west. Now the counter's still positive so going east doesn't take you back.
