Issue #44 new

hg-git adding a trailing slash to git repo URL

created an issue

I'm attempting to use hg-git to deploy an app to heroku, but it fails with an "Invalid path" error, which I believe is caused by the addition of a trailing slash. A short transcript illustrating the problem can be found at https://gist.github.com/2945556

    I've run into this issue as well when attempting to use an HG scheme to clone a gist:

    PS C:\Users\jaraco\G\gryphon> tail -n 1 C:\Users\jaraco\.hgrc
    gist = git+ssh://git@gist.github.com/
    PS C:\Users\jaraco\G\gryphon> hg clone gist://4674495
    destination directory: .
    abort: destination '.' is not empty
    PS C:\Users\jaraco\G\gryphon> hg clone gist://4674495 dest
    ["git-upload-pack '/4674495/'"]
    abort: git remote error: The remote server unexpectedly closed the connection.
    PS C:\Users\jaraco\G\gryphon> hg clone git+ssh://git@gist.github.com/4674495
    destination directory: 4674495
    ["git-upload-pack '/4674495'"]
