PDF file is not displayed in the modal window

Hi,

We’re using:
Moodle: v3.7.0
Tiles format: 3.7.0.8 (RC)
Browser: Google Chrome 80.0.3987.163 (Official Build) (64-bit)

At least lately, when we are trying to view PDF files in a modal window of the Tiles format, the modal window is being displayed, but the PDF itself does not, and instead we see the following message:

This bug does NOT repro in the Mozilla Firefox browser.

However, Chrome can still display PDF files in its internal viewer.

Do you have any clue what could be the problem?

Hi apologies that it took a while to get to this.

I am unable to replicate this problem with the current version of the plugin 3.7.0.16 (RC) and Chrome 84. I suspect that it may fix itself if you upgrade your plugin, so will close the ticket for now but please come back if it persists post upgrade
