Tiles format does not support multilang filter in Course contents
Hi David,
when using the plugin https://moodle.org/plugins/filter_multilang2 , and I use the filter in the description of the tiles and in Labels the Language doesn’t change. The mark-up isn't dispayed.
In the Screenshot the Language should all be in English:
Thanks for your help
Kind Regards
Valentin

reporter Exactly, as rea suggested the default language is German but switched temporarily to English.

repo owner Hi the reason that you are seeing German in the section is that the section content has been stored locally in the browser, before you changed the user’s language. So for example if you picked English or German before entering the course, you would see that language in both places.
To fix this, we need to detect the language change and clear the stored data.
However there is a workaround - go to Site Admin > Course Formats > Tiles format > Browser storage and set ‘Max content items in browser session storage’ to zero.
As we have a workaround I am reducing the priority for now

It seems to me (from test I have done) that the open tile uses the default language set in the user’s profile, while the title on the tile itself (as well as the tile in edit mode) uses the temporarily set language.
If my hypothesis is correct, the user above has German set as their default language, but switched the language temporarily to English.
@Valentin, can you confirm this?
