MathJax not displaying with Animated preferences on

Moodle Version 3.9.10

MathJax is displaying the raw LaTeX in a tile when the animated navigation is on. When it is off, the math formulae display correctly.

Steps to recreate:

1. Make sure Moodle filter Tex Notation is off and Mathjax is on
2. Add a math formula via LaTeX in a tile
3. Turn animated navigation on
4. The LaTeX string will show
5. Turn animated navigation off
6. The Equation/Formula should show
