Distance issue in activity tracker on vivoactive

Distance displayed is not confined to steps only. Eg 1900 steps recorded with 1 mile distance; If I subsequently go for a bike ride of 12 miles, the distance shown in the activity tracker adds the cycling distance to the steps covered ie 13 miles. So it looks like I have covered 13 miles in 1900 steps.

Hi,

that is the way Garmin designed the activity tracker data to work. This is no a bug with BigTime. The activity tracker calculates distance from all activities, step count is really separate from the distance value.
