Vivoactive HR - Heart Rate shows "No Data"

Issue #70 closed
Former user created an issue

On the Vivoactive HR watch, when a data field is set to Heart Rate, it often shows No Data for no apparent reason. You can see heart rate data collected when scrolling to the default Heart Rate screen and Heart Rate correctly displays all the time with other 3rd party watch faces.

I have the same issue with the vivoactive hr . Can this be fixed please as this is the best watch face I have found. The HR works for a few seconds sometimes then goes to display the words no data. I have tried using the other data fields but it works the same. Hope this can be fixed? Thank you. Neil

I have the same issue with the fenix 3 hr. The heart rate application shows no breaks in HR data, but the watch face often shows "No Data" - this text is also long and often crowds into the step count. If it is not possible to reliably retrieve HR data, it would be better to remove it as an option, or to show "NA" or "" so that at least the step count is legible.

I've only had this watch face for a day or so, and I do sometimes see HR data on this face. I'm guessing maybe 10% of the time it is there.

Same issue with my VivoActive HR. Just installed and it shows no data. Occasionally for 1 sec, it may appear. Appreciate a fix pls. This is an awesome face watch for me. Thanks for the great work.

Same issue for me Heart Rate shows a no data. HR does display in all other HR enabled faces and the HR screen on the watch itself. Otherwise Really like this face but will not use till HR is fixed

Same for me on Forerunner 235. I occasionally get a HR number but most of the time it's showing "No data". Maybe best to show the last reported HR with some sort of status colour to show the currency of that - eg. red is old (say >1 min ago), white = current (<10s ago). Should be possible as other watch faces show HR reliably.
