Vivoactive HR Goes to blank then default face

Issue #94 resolved
Former user created an issue

Vivoative HR. Firmware is 4.0.

Apart from the already reported crashing when attempting to go into settings in Garmin Express there was no problem until the latest update a couple of days ago, which did fix the settings crash. Now having selected IQ BigTime in Watch Faces (there is one other named Time which shows up on the watch image 1 & 2) it starts off in BigTime but will then show go to a blank (black) watch face with just the bluetooth and running man icon at the top (left and right respectively image 3). From there it changes to (I assume) the Time face (image 4). I then have to swipe to come out of it and back to BigTime.

Can you try deleting BigTime and reinstalling afresh with the very latest version on the App Store.

Also could you please tell me what BigTime settings you have set ?

    I will try and fix.

Deleted and reinstalled. It seems to cycle through those 3 screens (Big Time, Nearly blank, another face), although I haven't time to just watch it and time the cycles. I do not have seconds on "always". Settings from top (Time Font) to end:

Original Show Day Month Text Show Kilo joules Show (Seconds) Show Yes No Calories Distance Heart Rate White White (Time minute colour) Blue Black Blue White White White Yellow (Activity Label Colour) DYNAMIC Green No Yes Yes Yes Yes No No Yes Icon and text Yes (Show Battery Warning)

HTH and I appreciate you looking into this as it has been the only face I have used for months, and I am not wanting to change.

Couldn't get pictures less than 3mb with my phone so the site won't let me upload.

Having the same issue just recently. Screen goes blank then goes to default watch face. If I scroll it comes back but definitely buggy. I did delete and reinstall but did not fix.

Same issue for past few days. It can be replicated immediately when the watch enables the backlight after you bring it up from your side to look at the time. I don't remember the name of that feature, but when down at your side it is fine, all the way up until you try to get it to enable the backlight with the hand motion, then it goes to that cycle of the original watch face, then you have to hit the right button to go to the activity screen then left button to go back to main screen where big time comes back. attached short video clip of issue via link. https://sharesync.serverdata.net/us/s/DtAd9kVceyaWNnmu6cNTRU0033cdc0

I synced and looks like so far so good. just out of curiousity, where do you see a version number? i know it updated but in the garmin express i see the settings to change but not version/about, and on the watch itself i don't see any version, so just wondering to make sure the version.
