RC3 trying to rename files that have correct name

RC3 still tries to shorten correct ROM names with multiple "." kof_sky_stage_v1.00j.chd becomes kof_sky_stage_v1.chd bbh2sp_v2.02.08.chd becomes bbh2sp_v2.02.chd It basically removes whatever is between the last two "." in the file name

I can't reproduce the problem, can you give me more info ? Which dat? Also the log file could help.

Here it is. Just look for "Rename rom kof_sky_stage_v1.00j.chd to kof_sky_stage_v1.chd". Datfile 0.200
