Preserve settings between sessions

It would be a nice feature that settings would be preserved between different runs of the application.

For instance, in my case each time I have to update or create a new database I have to set the “Advanced settings” (4th button) I have to set them per session. Curiously enough if I run it again before closing the program, they are preserved.
