Consider supporting Romcenter 3 permanently
I'm sorry but Romcenter 4 is a major drawback on almost every single aspect.
First and most important, the really nice UI was completely butchered with a new UI that resembles an old Linux system (bleurgh!) and has some parts that you cannot remove, like that Welcome tab that's completely unneeded and should be a once only popup.
Adding a romset is now very confusing because of the new flow, I had to try like 3-4 times until it finally worked.
The new columns have totally arbitrary widths and they don't save the custom width and cannot be disabled.
Performance has decreased drastically!! After adding 5-6 systems, the software was leaking all over the place, and forced me to restart RC4. Romcenter 3 is a breeze! What happened!?
Was even worse, it didn't save my "merge" database setting (has to be configured on each start), so I ended up deleting a bunch of roms because the program splitting the roms instead of merging.
Honestly, it pains me to say but my final suggestion would be to drop Romcenter 4 and keep working on 3, which is what I will use for now and forever since I cannot use any other rom sorter because their UX is abysmal. Only Romcenter 3 is the good one.
