Possibility to force an archive format

In addition to selecting the preferred format for archives, it would be nice if there was an option to “force” that format. At the moment, if I select “zip” as my preferred format and I add a mix of zip and 7z files, the 7z files will remain as-is. I would like for all files to be automatically converted to the same archive format. (As a workaround, for the time being, I convert all files to the same format before I feed them to Romcenter)
