        House Ministry</span><span class="txt-black-sm"><br>
        Only Have a Small Block of Time to Give?<br>
        If you want to volunteer but only have a limited time to give, please 
        consider opportunities at HOPE . We need volunteers to:<br>
        Monitor front door at HOPE during clothing distribution: Anytime during 
        Mon. &#150; Fri. 2 - 5.; Drivers with a truck to pick up food at Foodlink 
        in Rochester on Mondays at 1pm, drive to HOPE and help unload. Mileage 
        will be reimbursed.Help unload food and stock food cupboard on Mondays 
        at 2 pm.Work whatever your schedule allows, every week, or once a month.

      <p class="txt-black-sm"><span class="bkg-pale-red">Furniture Needed at HOPE</span><br>
        HOPE recipients are in need of beds (complete sets) twin, full, queen 
        or king, dressers, couches, living room chairs, kitchen table and chairs, 
        bed linens and towels. Please call 265-6694 if you have any items to donate. 
        The food cupboard also needs: coffee, tea, laundry soap, paper products, 
        soups, and personal hygiene products. Thank you so much for your continued

        the Hungry? </span><span class="txt-black-sm"><br>
        Can you spare two hours a week to pick up and deliver surplus food to 
        food kitchens? A van or small truck is helpful. Local stores are willing

      <p><span class="bkg-pale-red">Need Pregnancy Help?</span><span class="txt-black-sm"><br>
        The Focus Pregnancy Help Center at 86 University Ave offers a safe, non-judgmental 
        haven for women and girls. We provide free information and assistance 
        to all pregnant women, including pregnancy testing, health and financial 
        advice, counseling and referrals to the vast network of support services 
        available within the Rochester area for expectant moms. </span><span class="txt-black-sm-bold">The

        Every second Sunday of the month, the Webster-Penfield Health Ministry 
        offers a free blood pressure clinic in the Faith Formation office. Bring

        Wheels Needs Relief Volunteers!</span><span class="txt-black-sm"><br>
        Meals On Wheels provides hot meals and warm smiles to elderly and homebound 
        in Monroe County. During the winter months we need substitute volunteers 
        to deliver meals during the lunch hour. Your gift of time can provide 
        the winter relief. needed. Volunteer either weekly, a few times a month 
        or seasonally. Opportunities are available for business and groups to 
        share delivery through our Adopt-A-Route program Please call 787-8326

        to go to the bank. Can you help? Give-A-Lift is a volunteer program of 
        Lifespan. They provide training, supplemental insurance, and mileage reimbursement. 
        As a volunteer driver you choose your geographic area, hours, and frequency

        Gift Shop Assistant: assist customers, operate cash register and extend 
        a smile; days and time according to your schedule. Unit Companion: volunteers

        <span class="txt-black-sm">Do you need extra help to stay living in your 
        own home, or, do you know someone who does? The Expanded In-home Services 
        for the Elderly Program (EISEP) has funds available to help pay for personal 
        care and housekeeping aide service. Work with experienced case managers 
        to come up with a plan to keep you independent. To be eligible you must 
        live in Monroe County, be over age 60, have a need for help and not receive

        A new partnership! </p>

        <span class="txt-brown-sm">T</span><span class="txt-black-sm">he Cathedral 
        Community, comprised of three newly merged parishes in northwest Rochester, 
        and the four parishes of the Webster-Penfield Catholic Connection are 
        forming a partnership that will strengthen our commitment to prayer, worship, 
        friendship and ministry.<br>
        As a first initiative, the Webster-Penfield parishes will join the Cathedral 
        Community in its recently begun ministry (clothing distribution, tutoring 
        and assistance with an urban farm) to refugees from Burma, now living 
        in the neighborhood. In time, we may work together in other urban (or 
        suburban) ministries.<br>
        But the goal of the partnership is broader than outreach ministry. It 
        is hoped that it will include shared liturgies, an open invitation to 
        events in each other&#145;s parishes, social events, and a general coming-together&#145; 
        to help us understand each other&#145;s needs as city and suburban communities 
        &#151; and to help us all better experience the universal church. For

        Tutors are needed to assist the Burmese refugees at Mary's Place as they 
        struggle to learn English. Ro arrives early for her one-hour tutoring 
        session and hates to leave when she is finished. She often stays around 
        afterwards to help sort and fold the donated clothing. During her session, 
        she may try reading from simple news articles or a chapter from Sarah, 
        Plain and Tall.. She writes down unknown words to learn their definition. 
        There are many others like Ro who need tutoring. If you can help, please
