Issue #109 resolved
Pavel Bystrický created an issue

EggRider App v2.4.18 does not find my android phone Moto G6. The phone detects EggRider V2 display but says that the connection is refused by the device (EggRider). How do I do connect the phone with the EggRider display?

Hi Pavel, sorry to hear you are experiencing issues.

I noticed this usually happens when the phone updates. You might have to restart, close the app/ Bluetooth and so on. If nothing works you might have to clear the cache. Please let me know if anything solved your issue

Hi,The advice did not help as the problem persists in the same manner.I tried to activate from another phone and got connection with subsequent activation page asking for shop name, order id and my email. I had them filled and got message "please fill all the mandatory fields correctly!", having the shop name (eggbikes) in grey while remaining texts in remaining fields in black.I would appreciate if you send me either a working advice or the code to type it directly. Also, I would appreciate if the connection problem with the Moto G6 phone running on Android 8.0.0 is solved too.Sincerely,Pavel

Hi Pavel, did you managed to make this work at the end? Were you trying to do it through the pairing procedure? The connection should be done from the app.

Hi,Yes I can connect the display with the phone. Usually after several attempts. However, The display does not write the set torque parameters. It would send a message about successful writing but after reading what is in memory I ger really weird settings. I hope to solve it until Spring.Sincerely,Pavel

Hi,I am still not able to write the torque settings. I connect my phone (Android) with the display unit after several failed attempts. Then I set the torque values in the phone app and have them written. I get message that the writing was done OK but then when I read the values from the display unit it shows the old numbers that  really need to change as they seem erratic (250, 200, 230, 230, 480, 470, 600, 300).Please, advice me what to do to write the torque data successfully (BTW other settings seem to be written correctly).Thank you in advance.Pavel

I do not have pairing problems (to say so, I get the connection on about fifth attempt). I have problems with writing new data. The app says that it was written and when I check by reading I see that they are not written. I.e. the verification procedure fails. Then I had the temperature-related problems as at the temperatures below approx 12°C the device did not react on pushing buttons.Pavel
