All PAS levels the same

I just switched from the Bafang Display to the EggRider V2 . The pedal assist works but there is no difference between levels. They are all about in the middle of the range, about 16 MPH. The throttle will also only Accelerate to 16MPH. I updated to the latest stable firmware, but no change. This is a Bafang midr-drive1000 watt.

Did you read our user manual?

It sounds to me as if you set your controller to specific assist level.

Thanks George, I did read the manual, but there is little instructions on what the paramiters should be set to. So I don’t want designated assist to be zero or 9, what should it be? What is pedal type? I used to get over 30 MPH on just the throttle, what do I change to get that performance back?

I see now, I set it to “display command”. What setting is limiting the speed?

I changed that setting and I now have assist levels, thanks. I changed “keep current” to 100% and now I can ride over 20 MPH, and that is fast enough for me. I do wish the throttle would deliver full power, it won’t let me make changes in the throttle page, if you have any ideas on that it would be great. Thanks for fixing this!

can you please give more details in the issues you have with the throttle page?

The throttle issues sound again as a settings problem.

I keep reading the manual, maybe it doesn’t sink in. The throttle page will say “ lost communication “, when I press read or write.
