ASI BAC 855 getting assist settings changed.

Issue #145 resolved
Fredrik J created an issue

Hello, I currently got an unlocked ASI BAC 855 paired with my Eggrider that’s running the latest firmware eggrider_fw_DEV_2_14_19beta.zip.

Everything works but there’s one issue! Everytime the display starts up it changes the “Assist Mode Source“ setting to “Reserved” a setting that makes it so the motor don’t power on. I have to go into the ASI app and change that parameter to the one that worls with your display “ASI 485 Display“ every time I start up the display.

Can you please just make a new revision of the firmware that don’t edit that parameter whenever the Eggrider boots up?

And I’m 100% sure that it’s the Eggrider, if I leave TX and RX unplugged the BAC 855 does keep its settings. The seller told me that there are other users who have experienced this issue and it should be really easy to reduce what the Eggrider will change.

I would like to buy such a controller, too. Can you please post a picture of the setting you are refering to? I cannot find it in the manual and have no ASI here to test ATM

hi, everyone that wants the firmware needs to get in touch over email saying which version of ASI controller they have, its firmware version, where is purchased from and that they have this issue.
