Trip can be only reset manually via dashboard button on mobile apps

Hi,

Currently, when you select manual reset trip, the only way to reset the trip is via the dashboard button on the mobile apps. There is no physical way (pressing buttons or combination in the EggRider display) to reset the trip.

It would be very convenient (specially for those who do not really use the mobile app when riding) to have the option to reset the trip counter using a physical button or buttons combination.

hi, forgot to update the manual, but in fw v2.5.23 the M+Down should reset the trip. Could you please confirm? we might want to change this as at the moment the behaviour is not that great.

Yes, that works, although as it is not specially easy to press the 2 buttons at once, it happens to also turn on the lights and change to stats screen (as you need to keep them pressed a bit to avoid trigger the action of the individual button).

My suggestion would be to have different actions in buttons depending on which screen are you located. So for example:

• When in main screen, holding DOWN button for some seconds: turn on/off the lights.
• When in stats screen, holding DOWN button for some seconds: reset the trip counter (which makes sense, as when in stats screen is where you can see trip summary, so it is good place to be able to reset the trip counter as you wish).
