Option to flash the lights for enhanced safety.

As a user I would like to be able to choose between having my bike lights on constantly (as is available now) or being able to make them flash. I feel flashing lights would give an added safety feature for both daytime and dusk/dawn riding.

Most aftermarket bike lights have both full-on and flashing modes. As the lights are switched on and off in software by the EggRider could you create an option that turns the light on and off in quick succession to create a flashing effect?

A configurable variable to control the frequency of the flashing (say in .2 or 0.5-second increments) would allow some customization and may help overcome lag or individual quirks of different types of lights.

As far as I know, there are no-ebikes on the market that offer this feature with their stock headlights and tail lights. It could be a nice value add feature.

This is an interresting idea but wouldn’t this go against local road regulations? Wouldn’t this also affect the back light as well?

Being able to customise it would be great.

This idea could be use for some type of alarm. If the bike is in lock mode with a necessary button combination to disarm, any wheel movement detected by magnet signal would flash the lights.
