After firmware upgrade, Eggrider is not accurately tracking rides in auto or manual rode
After upgrading to firmware 2.6.5, eggrider does not accurately track rides unless connected to the app. When in auto or manual mode it shows 30 minute rides as 5+hours, and the odometer as 70+ miles instead of the expected 5-6. Connecting the app seems to return expected results

reporter I am not positive on the previous version, maybe 2.5.3?
Yes, the problem happens whether the app is connected or disconnected or rebooted. In the attached screenshot the top 3 entries are all from the same trip

I’m sorry, I cannot see your attached screenshots anywhere. Would you mind posting them again?

Thank you, I see the screenshot now.
I think a possibility is that with the 2.6 version, an old trip was recovered by the display. If this is the case, you can try to reset it on the display and see if that solves things. The procedure is as follows:
- Power on the display
- Press the M button to enter the statistics screen. If simply pressing M toggles running mode, then keep M pressed until the screen changes. It will take two seconds.
- (Optional) In this screen you can see many stats of the display. It would be beneficial for us if you could take a picture with your phone, for us to see and diagnose.
- From this stats screen, keep the Down button pressed, until the top half is zeroed out. The display should show a “Trip reset” popup.
- You can press M again to return to the normal screen, or reboot the display. The display should show the rides starting from 0 now.
Let us know if this does not fix your issue.

- changed status to invalid
Hi Chris,
I think the confusion starts from the fact that you have the trip reset option set to manually in display settings page: https://manual.eggrider.com/mobile_app/display_settings/#reset-trip If you want the display to reset the trip each run you have to set it to Auto at start-up App and display hold handles trips independantly. You could also reset a trip from the dashboard from the icon at the left of the speed

reporter Thank you, I see that setting now and after unchecking it is working as expected.
