No Lishui Settings
Message: Communication error between display and controller.
The eggrider does not display the speed that the ebike is going when peddaling When I change speed from 0 to 9, it displays the message on the eggrider screen: Lishui settings not set, or something like that.
My previous display worked just fine on it. Apparently this it an error to do with the connection of display and motor?
But the throttle works fine. Everything works fine, except it doesn’t show the speed and doesn’t show any statistics of any ride.

Same problem with BBSHD.
The bike will randomly stop displaying speed while riding (the “--,-” will appear), and EggRider will report error FF. Everything else still works, the throttle and pedals seem to still behave as expected in selected mode/gear. Activating e-brakes fixes the issue instantly.
It doesn’t seem to be correlated to any particular bike setting (happens randomly on its own, every 30-60+ minutes). I’ve only started noticing it after updating the firmware (to the one that updates Watts display much more frequently). As far as i can tell, it doesn’t seem to be caused by any loose connection - the problem often happens on smooth, flat roads.

Hi @Wojciech Górny ,
That is a very strange behaviour but could be related to the speed sensor position or the brakes?
Can you please share the firmware version and app version from the app about page?

I have this exact same issue. It started today randomly. The bike operates normally, but the speed does not show, and Eff appears.
If I change levels, the speed appears but disappears after a few seconds. Is there a fix for this?
