egg rider with BAC4000 no throttle

Issue #256 resolved
John Pastore created an issue

Just installed bac4000 with egg rider v2 on a surron x with a 60V non bypassed battery. After the install, throttle works with egg rider off. With egg rider on, throttle does not work. Green wire from egg rider is connected to green connector on bac4000. Have upgraded firmware to latest. Looking for ideas as to what could be wrong. Double checked all connections.

Hello Adrian, Thank you so much for the quick response. I was able to tune the egg rider to my non-bypassed 60V battery and so far, the surron has not cut out. As for the link below, I'm not sure what the documentation is trying to tell me as I have a bac4000 and the doc does not mention that. So I'm guessing now that my issue is fixed with the throttle not working, It works now with the egg rider. What I'm also experiencing is that when I turn on the surron, and before I turn on the egg rider, there is power to the bike. I thought the egg rider controlled that? Does that mean my egg rider is defective? From all the videos and documentation, I thought the egg rider was now the on/off for the surron power. Steps: 1 connect the battery (only one connector now) 2 flip the breaker on 3 insert key and turn on 4 test throttle and it engages the motor. 5 turn on egg rider and bike uses egg rider settings 6 turn off egg rider 7 throttle still works any ideas? Thank you.

    Sincerely, John Pastore

I was able to figure out that I needed to launch the GLE dashboard (with egg rider disabled/off), and go into the blue tooth settings and set the Assist mode from None to Network (save ) and now the sur ron will not turn on unless the egg rider is turned on. you can resolve this issue.
