Protocol not found

I have just finished setting up my mountain bike with all the components I ordered on electrify bike and when I turn it on, I get the “protocol not found” error message. I also get the following message on the app: “Error report

ErrorCode: OxFF

Protocol:Unknown

Message: Communication error between display and controller”

I followed the step by step instructions on the website and it says to reset the display for my motor (Bafang BBSHD). I did that and it didn’t work, so it’s saying there’s an issue communicating between display and controller and to contact them via email. That’s as far as I’ve made it so far.

    In order to assist you on this issue can you please provide the following:

    1. Bike model
    2. Picture of the serial number? (This can be found as a white label on the back or on the side of the display)
    3. Screenshot of About page from EggRider app
    4. Controller model
    5. Are you using any adapters?
    6. Can you send us a video of when you are trying to reset your EggRider display?
