Issue #271 resolved
Charles Harvey created an issue

I get a “no id restart” message on the screen. When I restart, the message returns immediately or within a minute . Any ideas?

    Hi Charles,

    Thank you for your message!

Can you please try to take a screenshot of your About page from the EggRider app?

Also can you please try to reset your EggRider display to the factory settings? You can do this by holding the M+POWER buttons while the EggRider display is turned off until it powers on.

We are looking forward to your response!

    Best regards,

    Adrian

I reset the Eggrider V2 following the instructions. M-key and Power button until the Eggrrider V2 starts up. I could see that it reset, but I got the same “no id restart.” The time the message takes to come up is intermittent but seems to be getting shorter and shorter. It usually happens within a few seconds to a minute or so. The battery is fully charged. I get no other error messages.

This can happen if you have enabled in EggRider App -> App settings -> Startup Connection or Background re-connection. This issue should be fixed in v2.7 If you still encounter this issue, please disable the options and report to us.
