Eggrider Error code

I was riding with my eggrider on when all of a sudden an error occurd. I couldn’t see my speed anymore same as my los of battery. The issius is errorcode:0xff

Message: communication error between display and controller

I’ve already checked if the problem was my controller but my eggrider gave the same message on my brothers bike when I connected it. And with his eggrider it worked just fine. Could you help me with this

Hi if the error was the same on your brother’s bike, it depends on many factors. Do you both have the same bike and controller? If yes then you need to try to reset your EggRider to factory settings after hooking it up to your brother’s bike. In order to do that please hold the M+POWER buttons while the EggRider is turned off until it powers on.

If your brother has another bike and controller and you probably used an adapter then it might be incompatible and this is why you received that error.
