EggRiderV2 seems to switch to Offroad/Sport mode but the motor is not
Occurs at startup. Switching display & app off and on again solves the problem (Bafang BBS02b/750W/48V).

reporter Installed the new firmware ‘eggrider_fw_v2_4_01_stable’, but it doesn’t solve the problem … Switching the Eggrider V2 unit off & on + choosing ‘Sport’ mode again and it works.

Account Deleted I also have this what I learned is that you must turn the device to off road then turn off the bike and now when you start the bike the setting will be correct even if the offroad settings weren't working when you turned it off

This is to do with the fact that some bafang motors don't update some of the settings until power on/off cycle.
Limited current is an example of this, but I think there are some others. There are some workarounds for this by using the same value for both road/off-road and using the assist level current limits to achieve the same. https://manual.eggrider.com/ebike_settings/bafang/basic/#limited-current-a
